How to Embed Your Facebook Posts

Facebook has debuted another fun new feature: post embedding. Embedded Facebook posts will allow you to take a post from your Region's Facebook page (or AYSO's National Facebook page) and embed it on a website, blog and more.

Once the post is embedded, users will be able to view the post anywhere you embed it, and engage with it by sharing, liking or leaving a comment. The above is a preview of what an embedded Facebook post looks like.

Embedding your Facebook posts on other websites is a great way to get your community engaged with your Region and drive valuable traffic to your Facebook page. Here's why:

Every embed post will have a "Like Page" option for users. This allows people that aren't currently browsing Facebook to stumble across your embedded post and engage with your Region's Facebook page.

Users will also be able to engage directly with the post without having to check Facebook.

Embedding your Facebook posts is also a way to share the fun news you've posted on Facebook with those who don't have an account. They won't be able to like, share or engage with your page or post, but they will be able to view the content and see what they've been missing out on. This would be a great way to encourage more parents to sign up for Facebook, if they're not already.

Embed Facebook posts on your Region website, blog or online newsletter. Facebook posts could be from your Region page, the Section page, or even from the pages of famous AYSO alumni such as Alex Morgan, Landon Donovan and more. You have a lot of options!
